Antique Charm Bathroom Remodel in Philadelphia | Modern Function & Classic Style
The Project Story
Antique-inspired details and a reconfigured footprint bring more space and privacy to this Philadelphia bathroom.
Location: Philadelphia, PA. Completion date: August 2025.
What the Client Wanted
The client requested a full bathroom remodel with a new layout, new plumbing fixtures and additional square footage, combining traditional character with modern convenience.
What We Changed
A closet in the adjacent bedroom was incorporated into the bathroom. The entrance was moved from the hallway to the bedroom to improve privacy and flow. A new vanity increased counter space and storage.
Design & Materials
Rich wood tones, brass finishes and detailed vanity, mirror and faucet selections establish an antique-inspired character. Elongated arched white tiles installed vertically in the tub-shower area provide a cleaner, contemporary contrast.
Construction
The work included removing the neighboring closet, reconfiguring the bathroom entrance and replacing the plumbing fixtures. A wall in the adjoining bedroom was opened for French doors connecting the neighboring rooms.
