Modern Bathroom Remodel with Skylight | Philadelphia
The Project Story
A skylight above the walk-in shower brings natural light into this modern Philadelphia bathroom, complemented by wood tones, white tile and matte black details.
Location: Philadelphia, PA. Completion date: July 2025.
What the Client Wanted
The clients wanted to replace the vanity, sink, toilet and shower while making the bathroom feel brighter and more open. Opening the shower ceiling and adding a skylight was a central goal.
What We Changed
The bathroom received updated fixtures and a natural wood-tone vanity with slab doors and functional drawers. Matching floating shelves above the vanity provide everyday storage and space for display without crowding the room.
Design & Materials
Natural wood finishes are paired with matte black vanity hardware, plumbing details, shower rail and accessories. White horizontal subway tile in the shower reflects daylight and emphasizes the width of the walls.
Construction
The shower ceiling was opened for a new skylight above the walk-in shower. Fixture replacement, vanity installation, tiled shower walls and matching floating shelves brought the light-focused design together.
