Relax and Refresh: Luxury Bathroom Remodel | Philadelphia
The Project Story
Our clients approached us seeking a full bathroom remodel that would significantly improve both the size and functionality of their existing space. The original bathroom felt narrow and confined, limiting comfort and usability. To address this, we expanded the layout into a neighboring room, creating the generous footprint the clients desired. Their vision included incorporating a freestanding tub as a centerpiece, paired with a spacious walk-in shower to elevate both style and convenience. This remodel transformed the once tight and restrictive bathroom into an open, luxurious retreat tailored to their lifestyle.

Our clients came to us looking for a full bathroom remodel that not only improved functionality but also expanded the footprint of their space. Their existing bathroom felt narrow and restrictive, limiting both comfort and design potential. To achieve their vision, we expanded the layout into an adjacent room, creating the open and luxurious bathroom they dreamed of.
The new design embraces a soothing, spa-like atmosphere through a mix of timeless and modern finishes. Natural wood cabinetry brings warmth, while light blue accent tile in the shower adds a refreshing pop of color. White hexagon floor tile grounds the space with classic charm, while crisp white subway tile keeps the shower feeling open and bright. To enhance sophistication, brass plumbing fixtures and hardware introduce a touch of elegance, balancing beautifully with both the cooler tile tones and the warmth of the wood.
Design Challenges & Solutions
The primary challenge was transforming the long, narrow footprint into a functional layout without sacrificing aesthetics. By expanding into the neighboring room, we created space for both a freestanding tub and a large walk-in shower—two must-haves for the clients.
To maximize storage, tall cabinetry was added on either side of the vanity, offering ample space for linens and toiletries while maintaining a streamlined look. Inside the shower, a built-in bench was incorporated for seating and storage of bath products. For an additional touch of luxury, a heated towel warmer was installed near the shower and tub, ensuring comfort and convenience.
Final Result
The completed remodel turned a cramped and dated bathroom into a spacious retreat designed for relaxation. With its calming palette, thoughtful storage solutions, and spa-inspired features, this luxury bathroom remodel in Philadelphia strikes the perfect balance of elegance and everyday functionality.
