Stylish Navy Kitchen Remodel with Brick Backsplash | Ambler, PA
The Project Story
Navy cabinetry and a brick backsplash bring texture and character to an updated kitchen in Ambler.
Location: Ambler, PA. Completion date: 2024.
What the Client Wanted
The client wanted to modernize an outdated kitchen while retaining a similar overall layout, improving circulation and balancing contemporary finishes with the character of the home.
What We Changed
Cabinetry, countertops and appliances were replaced, and new flooring unified the kitchen. Two doorway openings were widened to improve movement between adjoining spaces. A peninsula adds seating, preparation space and a place to gather.
Design & Materials
Bold navy cabinets are paired with stainless steel hardware and a matching sink faucet. White quartz counters with gray veining contrast with the cabinetry, while a brick backsplash brings warmth and texture.
Construction
The remodel included expanding the two door openings and installing the new cabinetry, counters, appliances and flooring. The updated peninsula improves everyday use without abandoning the kitchen's original footprint.
